President Donald Trump has ordered fresh military strikes against Iran after two American service members were killed and a third went missing following an Iranian attack in Jordan, marking one of the conflict's deadliest escalations in recent weeks. The US military confirmed that the two personnel died on Friday while defending against Iranian ballistic missile and drone strikes in Jordan. The attack pushes the total number of US service members killed since the war began in late February to 16, with more than 420 wounded in the conflict so far.
